Our Mission

The mission of Adelante Charter School is to develop biliterate, multi-cultural students whose strong academic and cultural foundations prepare them to meaningfully participate and provide leadership in their families, their community and their world to create a more just and equitable society.

Our Vision

Adelante Charter School strives to be a model dual-immersion school, recognized at the local and state levels for its outstanding academic program led by a passionate and talented staff, strong parental and community involvement, sound financial resources, and a committed board of directors.

Our Values

Adelante Charter School is deeply rooted in Cesar Chavez's values, as exemplified by his work with Dolores Huerta and the United Farm Workers of America (UFW). Together Cesar and Dolores emphasized service to others, sacrifice, a preference for helping the most needy, determination, non-violence, and acceptance of all people. These values were integral to his approach to achieving social and economic justice for farm workers.

Accountability

The Federal Department f Education and California Department of Education requires reports and documents of schools to obtain official data from schools (e.g., demographics, budget, student outcomes) and for ensuring schools are setting goals and meeting them. The following is provided for ease of access. Should you have any questions about these documents, please contact the Adelante Charter School office.

School Accountability Report Card

As a California public school, we must annually provide information to the community through a School Accountability Report Card (SARC).  This allows for a public comparison of schools for student achievement, environment, resources, and demographics.

LCAP Federal Addendum

The LCAP Federal Addendum is meant to supplement the LCAP and must be submitted to the California Department of Education to apply for the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) funding. Schools are encouraged to review the LCAP Federal Addendum annually with their LCAP, as ESSA funding should be considered in yearly strategic planning.
