Board of Directors

The major roles and responsibilities of our Board of Directors includes establishing and approving all major educational and operational policies, approving all major contracts, approving the school’s annual budget, overseeing the school’s fiscal affairs, selecting and evaluating the administrative staff, etc. The Board is responsible for fulfilling accountability requirements set forth in the Adelante Charter and in California Charter school legislation.

The Board of Directors at Adelante Charter School is a public school governing board and thus required to follow all of California's open meeting laws under the Ralph M. Brown Act ("The Brown Act").
